David Wilcox, Program Director for the AFP of Oregon and SW Washington, organized a panel discussion on February 18th at Multnomah Athletic Club. Entitled, “Bitcoin, Cryptocurrencies, and Alternative Payment Systems: A Panel Discussion“, the event was a great success. Panelists included Lawrence Lerner, Ian Pulicano, Anna Guyton, Mike Fors, George Fogg, and Rhys Faler. By the end of the discussion, the audience was left with one inescapable conclusion: cryptocurrencies are here to stay and will make a profound impact on financial systems both locally and throughout the world.
