Mt. Hood Community College has just added a new course for the Fall Quarter. MHCC is 15 miles East of Downtown Portland and has an annual enrollment of more than 26,000 students.

Course Description:
Learn the fundamentals of Bitcoin technology. Only 6 years old, this technology is sometimes called “the Internet of money.” Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer secure electronic cash system and more. This extensive course covers the background knowledge needed to fully comprehend the principles behind bitcoin, the history and development of crypto-currencies, the peer-to-peer network and how to safely use and store bitcoin and data security.
